Saturday-
Day two of our trip and no sleeping in for us! We again rode the songtaew to the the church and had devos with the team and sang songs led by Brett and Zack. We all went to Futsaholic and split up into groups with the children and played games like the banana olympics and some water games. By now we have all formed relationships with most of the kids and it is fun to see them run up and wave and want to sit on your lap! We took them to a water park called Leo Land, we were each assigned a child to look after. Those kids had a lot of energy and it was hard to keep up! Leo Land was a huge water park on top of a 7 story mall. It took us a lot of esculators to get all the way to the top. After the water park we took the kids back to the church/office for some supper and played around with them for a bit. When they all left we set up chairs for Sunday's church service and then got in groups and headed to the night market. The night market is a CHEAP place which open only on weekend nights! It has everything from fresh produce to tattoos; sorry Ben was the only one that got one. The girls had a fun time looking at the clothes, shoes, and accesories and the boys liked the soccer jersey's. You guys should be proud of Jess and I (the picky ones) who tried the "butt fruit" which is actually called sala. They taste sour and have a texture like an apple. We then all met up at the church/office and got on another songtaew and headed back to the apartments to debrief and admire Ben's new tattoo!
