Dave started our day off by bringing us french toast and orange juice for breakfast. We all rode on the song teaw to the ministry building where Yu shared her testimony and then she taught us a few thai phrases. Then the Mercy team piled in the back of Dave’s pickup, Katie, Jess, Liz, and I sat across the open tailgate. We had the Mercy team split into 2 groups; one group took out rocks from the dirt and built a new post, while the other group painted the sala. The outside was repainted brown and Jessica and I painted a mural on one of the inside walls. The kids came back from school and all wanted to help so they painted around the windows outside. We joined our mercy group back together and had a quick supper of sticky rice, chicken, watermelon, and nga (thai fruit). We then quickly transitioned to VBS with 4 stations: God made you, God loves you, God forgives you, and God saves you, with crafts to go along. Some of our mercy team had a chance to watch the soccer tournament to around midnight.

As a teacher of yours, I'm excited you went along on the trip. Anxious to hear how you've grown (spiritually, not girth).
